Armsgrove viaduct

This viaduct crosses one arm of Wayoh reservoir, near Bolton, and carries the Bolton - Blackburn railway. It was built in the 1840s to carry the railway and at the time simply spanned the valley and fast-flowing Bradshaw Brook. The reservoir was constructed 30 years later.
